When our enterprise clients utilize this platform, they act as the Data Controller (Verantwortlicher) under the GDPR, and danera acts strictly as the Data Processor (Auftragsverarbeiter). Data processing is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AVV) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
To protect employee privacy and ensure operational integrity, the danera platform enforces the following structural data boundaries:
Strict Anonymization: The platform processes individual employee conversations to extract operational bottlenecks and strategic insights. However, the system automatically anonymizes these inputs.
Restricted Executive Access: Leadership, executives, and managers do not have access to individual chat logs or unedited transcripts. The Interactive Executive Insights Map presents only aggregated data, ensuring that no specific feedback can be attributed back to a single employee.
European Data Hosting: All data processed by the platform, including temporary chat states and aggregated insights, is hosted exclusively on servers located within the European Union (EU) to guarantee full compliance with European data sovereignty and GDPR standards.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge.
